From Northern California, Dr. Hua grew up in the city of Sunnyvale, CA. She attended San Francisco State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. After graduating, she spent time gaining experience in the optometric field, working in various private practices in the East Coast. She then moved back to the California, this time to study at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, CA.
After graduating with her doctorate in optometry, Dr. Hua moved to the South Bay area to practice. Dr. Hua has experience providing quality care to patients of all backgrounds and ages, having worked in the Veterans’ Affairs system as well as the Boys and Girls Club in Garden Grove. She spent time at the Wellish Vision Institute in Las Vegas, NV, managing complex ocular disease and refractive surgery patients with ophthalmologists. As the clinical director at Simply Optometry, Dr. Hua provided personalized care to her patients and covers the whole scope of optometry including specialty contact lenses and ocular disease management.
In her free time, Dr. Hua loves hiking, watching movies, playing badminton, and trying new restaurants. Pleasant and personable to her patients, Dr. Hua is here for all of your eye care needs!
